about me

Welcome to my site, this is my story.

Thanks for visiting my site - if you like my work please contact me about your next project. I am an experienced designer, an outdoorsy person who loves to travel and experience new things. Looking to broaden my experience into online marketing, in December 2014 I took an intensive Mini-MBA program in Digital Marketing through Rutgers Business School Executive Education. In 2015 I took a 90-hour Front-end Web Design certificate course at Noble Desktop in NYC, followed by a 30-hour Back-end Web Development certificate. I love putting what I learned to immediate use in web projects and knowing how to do it correctly! I studied graphic design in college, and have worked for all sorts of companies, so I have a varied design background. I sew and make crafts and art has always been a part of me since I was little and took Saturday morning drawing classes.

What's that spiral you see throughout my site? The spiral symbolizes the Koru - a Mauri symbol of new beginnings, growth and harmony. It is derived from the curled up stalk of a baby fern, which unwinds as it grows. I encountered this symbol in my travels to New Zealand, and it spoke to me and where I am in my life, seeking harmony, growth and new beginnings. Here's a link to photos from some of my trips around the country and the world.
