I’ve wanted to go see the wild ponies of Assateague Island. After too many years of too many excuses, I finally made the trip April 22-25, 2010. I spent the first night in Ocean City, MD, a nice beach resort town minutes from Assateague Island National Seashore, where I then camped for 2 nights. I loved being around the ponies, and will definitely go back again.
